If you are thinking to travel Nigeria but suddenly you see your visa is expired what will you do? Your visa date is expired means validity period of your Nigerian visa is over and now you need to renew it for either your business tour, as a tourist, or for temporary employment.
To renew the visa, you have to meet certain conditions and fulfill formalities like you should reach validity period of 24 months and you have a multiple entry visa, if your visa is still valid or expired twelve months back, and the applicant has not been denied it in the last twelve months period. In the process, you will enter into “Purpose of Travel” Page where you will ask questions like if you have been ever refused a visa within last twelve months and if you have been issued a validity visa of two years which is still valid or have been expired within last twelve months period.
After the process, you need to self-validate the facts and dependent on the data you will be sent interview appointment slot. For the same you must have a printed version of an appointment letter with Barcoded DS-160 confirmation page, international passport with a validity period of six months, original GT Bank fee receipt with one colored passport sized photograph which is 5cm *5cm having forward full face with a white background. The photograph should not be older than six months, and you hair should not be shown covering your ears, and no religious head coverings are allowed.
Applications arriving late for the interview or cannot appear have to again apply for the interview and schedule a new appointment date. We will not see any exceptions to this policy.
